Our Staff

Amy Collins, CPA

Ms. Collins joined the firm in 2009. She also received her Certified Public Accountant License in 2009. She became the President of the firm in 2015. Ms. Collins started her education at Lamar Institute of Technology, receiving her Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting Technology in 2003. She went on to finish her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at the University of Texas at Tyler in 2006. Ms. Collins completed her education at Lamar University with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2012.

Richmond Bennett, CPA

Mr. Bennett received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas A & M University in 1967. He received his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Lamar State College of Technology in 1968. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1970. Mr. Bennett joined the firm in 1975.

Ladybug Bennett

Ladybug Bennett joined the firm in 2016. Ms. Bennett is a two-time graduate of the Higgenbotham School for Dogs.

Sheila Hight

Mrs. Hight joined our firm in March 2003. She has 30 years of experience in the accounting field in various industries. She specializes in payroll, payroll reporting, and various payroll related activities. She prepares tax returns and general ledgers, and manages book keeping and other various duties for the firm. She has three children and six grand children.

Halley Herman

Mrs. Herman joined the firm in 2022. She started her education at Lamar State College - Orange, receiving her Associate in Liberal Arts and Business Management Accounting Certification in 2019. Mrs. Herman then completed her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Economics at Lamar University in 2022.

Juanita Theal

Ms. Theal has been at the firm since 2020. She graduated from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School in 2015. Ms. Theal plans on furthering her education at Lamar University to become Sheila 2.0 and continue to move up in the Firm. Ms. Theal is Ms. Collins' right hand girl and loves to play jokes on the entire office. She spends her free time with her family, friends and sweet kitty, Jasper. She is always looking for a new adventure to go on and loves random road trips!
